Angry Pepper Smokehouse – Smokey, Savory, and Downright Delicious

Angry Pepper Smokehouse’s smoked fish, seared tuna, nachos, ribs, and much more can be found at Madeira Beach on Duhme Rd. They smoke their meats on hickory and oak logs for over half a day to create a flavorful umami. We’d like to highlight some of their specialty dishes that locals can’t get enough of.

The Angry Nachos will have your mouth flaming! The in-house chili sauce, paired with pulled pork (or a choice of 2 other meats), comes topped with 2 types of cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream, lettuce, and onions.
We highly recommend taking a stab at Pepper’s Famous Beef Brisket for some authentic Kansas flavor. It’s slow-cooked for over 10 hours, is deliciously marbled, and can be eaten by itself or within a sandwich.
Curious about their sides? The Waffle Fries or White Mac’n’Cheese will elevate any dish you get.

Run by Chelsey and Smiley since 2024, this lovely retro spot is more than just the dishes they serve; it’s a community. The Neon Lunchbox hosts open mic nights, karaoke sessions, themed parties, and even trivia. Crafted with love and care, this menu has tons of classic meals reimagined. We’ll highlight a few local favorites.

Just wanting something simple and delicious? The Big Bird chicken salad club surely fits the bill with its romaine, pepperjack, and tomato placed between some scrumptious sourdough.
Take yourself back to the 80s and try The Little Foot spinach wrap stuffed with bell peppers, sweet Thai chili sauce, mushrooms, onions, and more!
They’ve also got plenty of sides like collard greens, pickle spears, and sweet potato mash. Don’t forget to try their Neuralyzer Oreo whipped dessert!

Awarded VisitSPC’s Best New Restaurants of 2025, this cozy café and restaurant has it all. Espressos, pastries, snapper, shrimp, octopus, pork chops, chicken, and so much more! You could dine here from dawn ‘til dusk and have more than enough variety to choose from. Let’s browse their menu and see what stands out.

Start the morning off with a Matcha Latte or Cappuccino and pair it with a Cinnamon Roll, Croissant, or choose from their daily selection of pastries.
